I have always told my sons that you never get a second chance at a first impression. I'm thinking now that this might not necessarily be written in stone. When I first met Gianna, she was very young and on the club swim team. She was very polite and shy. I've known her Mom through the years socially and was super excited when I found out that she was nominated as an Ambassador for 2018. When we began to work together at the end of last year Gianna was still very polite and shy, however over the course of the year, I saw a side of her that I had not seen originally. Gianna is funny - witty actually! She is also stylish, extremely mature, and ever so cool and collected. She's a girl's-girl and yet I can see how the guys would want to hang with her as well, since she isn't overly dramatic or chatty. I would imagine that any secret would be safe with Gianna and if I were a Senior in High School she is definitely the one I would want to be trading clothes with and calling my best friend. I wish I had been more like G when I was 17. I need to remember to go back and tell my sons that they should take a second look sometimes, because they will be pleasantly surprised.
Did I mention that she is smart and absolutely gorgeous? I can't wait to see where the road takes Gianna. We love you G and I'm so extremely proud to have you as an LRP Ambassador this year.
